Notice is given under section 3212 of the revised judicature act of 1961, 1961 PA 236, MCL 600.3212, that default has occurred with respect to payment by KEVIN JONES and SARI JONES (collectively, "the Co-Owners") of one or more monthly installments of the assessment levied by LONGLEAF ASSOCIATION, a Michigan non-profit corporation, having an office at 788 Purple Creek, Ada, Michigan 49301 (the "Association") against the premises owned by the Co-Owners located at 8526 Longleaf Drive SE, Ada, Michigan 49301. Placing the highest bid at sale does not automatically entitle a purchaser to free and clear ownership of the property. A potential purchaser is encouraged to contact the county register of deeds office or a title insurance company, either of which may charge a fee for this information. Notice is hereby given that by virtue of the power of sale provisions contained in Article II, Section 2.5 and Article XX of the Association's Amended and Restated Master Deed as recorded on May 25, 2005, as Instrument No. 20050525-0062119, in the Kent County Records, and for the purpose of paying the above amount, together with interest, late charges, attorney fees (not limited to statutory fees), other collection costs, and subsequent accruing assessments, the Claim of Lien will be foreclosed by sale of the premises at public venue to the highest bidder for cash or cashier's check at the main lobby of the Kent County Courthouse, starting promptly on September 2, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. The premises covered by the Claim of Lien are situated in the Township of Ada, County of Kent, State of Michigan, and are legally described below: Unit 16 of Longleaf, a site condominium according to the Master Deed recorded in Liber 5049, Pages 123-183, Inclusive, Kent County Records and all amendments thereto, and designated as Kent County Condominium Subdivision Plan No. 505, together with rights and the general common elements and limited common elements as set forth in said Master Deed and described in Act 59 of the Public Acts of 1978, as amended.
