Notice is given under section 3212 of the revised judicature act of 1961, 1961 PA 236, MCL 600.3212, that the following mortgage will be foreclosed by a sale of the mortgaged premises or some part of them, at a public auction sale to the highest bidder for cash or cashier’s check at the place of holding the circuit court in Kalkaska County, starting promptly at 11am, on Thursday, April 16, 2026. Said premises are situated in Coldsprings Township, Kalkaska County, Michigan, and are described as: Lot 20, Elmwood, according to the plat thereof as recorded at Liber D, Page 34 of Plats, Kalkaska County Records, c/k/a 8398 Central Ave NE, Kalkaska, MI 49646. The redemption period shall be six months from the date of the sale, unless the premises are determined to be abandoned pursuant to MCL 600.3241a, in which case the redemption period shall be one month, or until the time to provide the notice required by MCL 600.3241a(c) expires, whichever is later. The redemption period further may be shortened pursuant to MCL 600.3238(10) if the property is not adequately maintained, or if the purchaser is denied the opportunity to inspect the property.
