Notice is given under section 3212 of the revised judicature act of 1961, 1961 PA 236, MCL 600.3212, that the following mortgage will be foreclosed by a sale of the mortgaged premises, or some part of them, at a public auction sale to the highest bidder for cash or cashier’s check at the place of holding the circuit court in BARRY County, starting promptly at 1:00 PM, on October 15, 2026. Said mortgage was modified by a loan modification agreement dated October 9, 2021, recorded November 24, 2021, Document Number 2021-014584, Barry County Records, State of Michigan and assigned through mesne assignments by said mortgagee to Carrington Mortgage Services, LLC, as assignee as documented by an assignment dated September 4, 2026 and recorded on September 9, 2026 and given document number 2026-008467 in Barry County Records, Michigan, on which mortgage there is claimed to be due at the date hereof the sum of ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED EIGHTY-THREE AND 68/100 DOLLARS ($180,983.68). Said premises are situated in the Township of Johnston, County of Barry, State of Michigan, and are described as: Lot 23 in Carters Fine Lake Park Annex, according to the plat thereof recorded in Liber 5 of plats, Page 3, Barry County Records.
