NOTICE OF SALE PURSUANT TO JUDGMENT OF FORECLOSURE SALE Attention homeowner: If you are a military service member on active duty, if your period of active duty has concluded less than 90 days ago, or if you have been ordered to active duty, please contact the attorney for the party foreclosing the mortgage at the telephone number stated in this notice. Default has been made in the conditions of a mortgage made by Crystal Haywood and Cody Haywood, joint tenants with full rights of survivorship, to Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc., as nominee for First State Bank dated August 5, 2022 and recorded September 12, 2022 in Liber 5560, Page 602, St. Clair County Records, Michigan. Said mortgage is now held by MidFirst Bank by assignment. In pursuance and by virtue of a Judgment of Foreclosure of Mortgage and Declaratory Relief entered for Plaintiff, MidFirst Bank against Defendants, Crystal Haywood, Cody Haywood, and United States of America in Case No. 25-000992-CH of the St. Clair County Circuit Court, the below premises shall be foreclosed and sold by public auction. Said Judgment of Foreclosure of Mortgage and Declaratory Relief was entered on the 8th day of December, 2025, wherein there is claimed to be due on said date the sum of One Hundred Ninety Thousand Four Hundred Fifty-Two Dollars and Fifty-Five Cents ($190,452.55), plus sums advanced for taxes, insurance and other fees incurred and allowed by said mortgage. Under the Judgment of Foreclosure of Mortgage and Declaratory Relief and related statutes, notice is hereby given that said mortgage will be foreclosed by sale of the mortgage premises pursuant to the Judgment of Foreclosure of Mortgage and Declaratory Relief and that the sale shall be at public auction to the highest bidder, at public venue, at the place of holding the circuit court within St. Clair County, on the 5th day of March, 2026 at 1:00 PM, Eastern Standard Time, the following described property, viz: All certain piece or parcel of land situated in the City of Port Huron, County of St. Clair and State of Michigan, described as follows: Lot 8 EXCEPT the South 50 feet thereof, Block 34, White Plat, according to the plat thereof as recorded in Liber B of Plats, Page 14, Saint Clair County Records.
