There is claimed to be due at the date hereof the sum of One Hundred Twenty-Eight Thousand Nine Hundred Forty-One and 92/100 Dollars ($128,941.92). Under the power of sale contained in said mortgage and the statute in such case made and provided, notice is hereby given that said mortgage will be foreclosed by a sale of the mortgaged premises, or some part of them, at public venue at the place of holding the circuit court within Monroe County, Michigan at 10:00 AM on MARCH 5, 2026. Said premises are located in the Township of Frenchtown, Monroe County Michigan, and are described as: A parcel of land being all of Lot 220 and the South 40.88 feet of Lot 219 of Brest Bay Grove Subdivision according to the Plat thereof recorded in Liber 5 of Plats, Page 17 and 18, Monroe County Records, and being more particularly described as: Commencing at a typical 5/8 inch diameter by 30 inch long capped iron pin set at the Northeast corner of Lot 218 in said Brest Bay Grove Subdivision, said point being 12.34 feet South of the existing South line of Pointe Aux Peaux Road as presently monumented; thence South 00 degrees 05 minutes 00 seconds East on the East line of Lots 218 and 219 a distance of 161.22 feet to a typical capped iron pin set at the true point of beginning of the parcel herein described; thence continuing South 00 degrees 05 minutes 00 seconds East on the East line of said Lots 219 and 220 a distance of 100.88 feet to a typical capped iron pin set at the Southeast corner of said Lot 220; thence South 89 degrees 50 minutes 35 seconds West a distance of 70.00 feet to a typical capped iron pin set at the Southwest corner of Lot 220; thence North 00 degrees 05 minutes 00 seconds West on the East line of Elm Avenue a distance of 100.88 feet to a typical capped iron pin set; thence North 89 degrees 50 minutes 35 seconds East a distance of 70.00 feet to the true Point of Beginning.Said Parcel is described for Tax Purposes as: Lot 220 and the Southerly 40.00 feet of Lot 219. 4990 Elm Street, Newport, Michigan 48166 The redemption period shall be 6 months from the date of such sale, unless determined abandoned in accordance with MCLA §600.3241a, in which case the redemption period shall be 30 days from the date of such sale.
