NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION LIEN FORECLOSURE Default Judgment for Foreclosure having been entered in the principal amount of $144,426.74 on October 20, 2025, by the Muskegon County Circuit Court (TONY BEATTIE, dba BEATTIE BROS CONSTRUCTION v RONALD SPRING, et al; Case Number 2024 – 5101 – CH) against RONALD SPRING, whose address is 10945 Parkwood Drive, Montague, Michigan 49437, as Defendant, and for TONY BEATTIE, dba BEATTIE BROS CONSTRUCTION, an individual and licensed residential builder (License Number 2101154578), whose address is 5369 Brunswick Rd., Holton, Michigan 49425, as Plaintiff, pursuant to Plaintiff's Claim of Lien dated January 14, 2025 and recorded on January 14, 2025, in Liber 4374, Page 914, Muskegon County Register of Deeds, concerning property at 8187 HOLTON RD., HOLTON, in the County of Muskegon, State of Michigan, because of non-payment of balanced owed, interest accrued plus costs and fees of the home rebuild and improvement of the Property. The amount due under the Default Judgment for Foreclosure as of the date of this notice is $144,898.35, principle, and with interest continuing to accrue plus costs and fees. Now, therefore, by virtue of the October 20, 2025 Default Judgment for Foreclosure, and pursuant to the statute of the State of Michigan in such case made and provided, notice of foreclosure by advertisement is hereby given under section 3212 of the revised judicature act of 1961, 1961 PA 236, MCL 600.3212, that Plaintiff's Claim of Lien will be foreclosed by a sale of the premises, or some part of them, on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. by a sale at public auction, to the highest bidder at the Pine Street entrance to the Michael E. Kobza Hall of Justice Building in Muskegon, MI. The amount due on the Lien may be greater on the day of the sale. Placing the highest bid at the sale does not automatically entitle the purchaser to free and clear ownership of the property. A potential purchaser is encouraged to contact the county register of deeds office or a title insurance company, either of which may charge a fee for this information. Under MCL 570.1121, the length of time that the property may be redeemed by the Defendant is four (4) months after the date of sale, or Monday May 18, 2026.
